Alderman James Eads

James D. Eads was first elected to the Tullahoma Board of Mayor and Aldermen in 2007; he was elected to a second term in 2010. He currently represents the Board on the Consolidated Communications Commission, the Duck River Utility Commission, serves on the Finance, Audit & Loan Committee and chairs the Internal Affairs Committee. He previously served on the Tullahoma Industrial Development Board and the Policy Committee. He is also serving a second term as the Mayor's representative to the Planning Commission.

James is a Tennessee native and graduated from Putnam County Senior High School in Cookeville, TN. He studied electronics at the State Area Vocational Technical School in Livingston, and currently operates his own company, Parity Hardware Services. Parity specializes in on-site computer hardware maintenance including laser, thermal, and other printing technologies, as well as banking equipment. The Eads family also built and opened Eads Coin Laundry on Carroll Street in 2005, which is now owned and operated by his parents.

James and his wife Nancy have four children who all attended Tullahoma schools, and are active members of Grace Baptist Church in Tullahoma, where they co-chaired the Furnishing and Fixtures Committee for a $2+ Million building expansion project.
