Brush Collection

The city offers brush collection services to residents. Each household is entitled to one (1) pickup of brush by city staff each month, and follows the Junk Truck Schedule. Each household may collect and put curbside a pile of brush not larger than 4' X 4' X 10', and it will be collected at no charge to the citizen.

Larger piles can be scheduled for pick up by calling the Public Works department, and there is a charge of $15 per ton for this service.

Brush can also be brought to the city recycling facility located at the Public Works Department at 942 Maplewood Avenue. Brush that is collected is recycled by a private contractor and is resold as mulch as part of our recycling program.
