Fire Prevention

Call 911 For Emergencies!

A primary mission of the Tullahoma Fire Department is fire prevention. Unwanted fires can cause personal tragedies and large monetary losses. All fire department personnel are active in proactive fire prevention efforts. The Fire Chief is the “fire authority having jurisdiction” in Tullahoma. The Deputy Fire Marshall is the field representative for the Fire Chief. The Tullahoma Deputy Fire Marshall is certified by the State of Tennessee Fire Marshall’s Office.

The Fire Chief and Shift Fire Captains coordinate fire prevention activities, including public fire safety education, fire station tours, fire safety talks to schools, civic and community groups, and recognition of Fire Prevention Week. All Tullahoma citizens are encouraged to take an active role in the prevention of unwanted fires and the abatement of unsafe fire conditions. To report fire prevention concerns please contact the Deputy Fire Marshall at (931) 607-5164.
