Policy Committee

Meets as Called

Each year the Mayor appoints three aldermen to the policy committee of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. The Mayor also designates one of the three to serve as Chairman. The purpose of the Policy Committee is to prepare policy statements for approval by the Board and to insure that Board members are supplied with a current copy of all approved Board policies. This committee may also serve to perform other duties as are directed by the board from time to time.
