"Get off the Couch" and check out the Tullahoma Parks and Recreation Department! The Tullahoma Parks and Recreation Department provides facilities and programs to meet the different interests of all age groups. Two community centers housing gymnasiums, fitness centers, outdoor and indoor pools, and year round recreation programs offer endless fun and ensure you won't run out of things to do in Tullahoma. Numerous parks and the greenway system, playgrounds and sports fields (softball, baseball, soccer, and football), helpful seminars, exercise classes, arts and crafts classes, and field trips round out the City Department's contributions to the quality of life in Tullahoma.
This department also sponsors many youth-oriented activities annually, including a Soap Box Derby. The Best New Race City was awarded to the 1st Annual Soap Box Derby in 2000.

The City's Urban Forestry and Mosquito Control programs are also administered through Parks and Recreation.
