Tax Equalization Board (Coffee County)
Two (2) Year Terms
The Coffee County Board of Equalization is the body charged by law with hearing and adjudicating administrative appeals to property values and assessments made by the Tax Assessor. Taxpayers may challenge an assessment by appealing to this board.
Once the county board of equalization or an arbitrator has rendered a decision, the taxpayer may continue their appeal to the superior court by mailing or filing with Coffee County Board of Tax Assessors a written notice wishing to continue the appeal.
