The Human Resources Department provides a comprehensive program of services for all City employees and job applicants which include:

  • Recruitment, selection and retention of qualified employees
  • Compliance with local, state and federal labor and employment laws
  • Development and implementation of the City’s personnel regulations
  • Management and administration of employee compensation and benefits
  • Coordination of employee training and development programs
  • Administration of risk management programs including safety and wellness programs
  • Management of worker’s compensation claims
